These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Card Spend and its website and applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Card Spend is a personal finance tool for tracking credit card transactions, rewards, and business expenses. It is provided for your personal use to help you organize your own financial information.

Not financial, tax, or legal advice

The Service is an informational tool only. It does not provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and its outputs (including reward estimates and expense categorizations) may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it, and you should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.

Plans, billing, and refunds

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from Settings.
• A one-time "Lifetime" purchase grants access to the desktop application for the lifetime of the product.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.

Desktop license

A Lifetime purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the desktop application. You may not redistribute, resell, or share your license file.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or reverse engineer it except as permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. Your financial data remains yours.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
